Program Director of Canopy College Coaching
Risher has over twenty years of experience helping students perform at their best. He has worked with hundreds of students with a variety of strengths and challenges, and he prides himself on his ability to meet any student’s unique needs. Beyond his extensive coaching, Risher has also taught in classrooms across the country and he has served on the faculties of UMass Amherst, Emerson College, and Northwestern University. Risher is an avid cyclist, tennis player, and home cook; he is a lover of music, theatre, dance, and art; and he holds a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University.

Jasmine received her bachelor’s degree in English and social sciences from Norwich University. She holds a 500 hour certificate in mediation and conflict management. She is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a psycho-biological approach to healing stress and trauma. Jasmine loves to ponder the big unanswerable questions such as: What does it mean to be human? How does listening transform us? How do we foster community and connection in our lives? She also enjoys cooking, gardening, dancing, reading, jogging, and spending time with her family.

Focused on empowering students to take increasingly active roles in their own experience, Jake works to create organizations which support students in ways that help them achieve their maximum potential. Jake holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership & Innovation. In addition to co-founding Canopy College Coaching, Jake also supports Mansfield Hall and Tanglio, and volunteers his time as a Commissioner (Board Member) and Vice Chair for The American Institute of Certified Educational Planners (AICEP). When not working, Jake can be found playing music, working on his golf swing, enjoying friends and family, or traveling in pursuit of such opportunities.

Author, trainer, speaker, educational advocate, and serial problem-solver, Dr. LaRoque is the founder of both Canopy College Coaching, and its progenitor, Mansfield Hall. Dr. LaRoque received a Doctorate in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin, and has taught teachers in a variety of undergraduate and master-level courses. Dedicated to accessibility, inclusion, and improving the success rates of all learners, Dr. LaRoque has shared his many years of experience in his book, Taking Flight: College for Students with Disabilities, Diverse Learners and Their Families, and is currently working on developing Tanglio, a mobile-based app designed to support college students. Most importantly, Dr. LaRoque is happily married and a proud father to three wonderful children, who keep him on his toes.

With a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and his Doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Arizona, Dr. LaRoque has worked in both private practice and educational settings. Committed to utilizing data-driven decisions for better educational and life-goal outcomes, Dr. LaRoque is a published researcher in scholarly journals and text, served as a research associate in the Campus Health Center at the University of Arizona, was an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, and oversees ongoing research at Mansfield Hall, Canopy College Coaching, and Tanglio. Additionally, Dr. LaRoque has developed the Pathway to Independence Inventory, a comprehensive adaptive life skills assessment for older adolescents and young adults. Dr. LaRoque lives with his wife in Wisconsin, and is the proud father of three boys.

Casey is a highly accomplished and results-driven professional with over a decade of experience in strategic people management and organizational development. As Vice President of People Operations at Mansfield Hall and Canopy College Coaching he leads the organization’s strategy in talent acquisition, leadership development, cultural enhancement, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
With a rich background as a business consultant for a globally recognized educational organization, Casey has a proven track record of enhancing employee engagement and effectiveness. His educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Business Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychology, providing him with profound insights into workplace dynamics and effective human resource strategies tailored to the unique needs of educational institutions.
